Single Speed.

Single Speed., originally uploaded by deboof.

Whilst bombing through the traffic this morning on my rattling old specialised push bike, I started dreaming of a new machine. I'm not into this fixed revolution going on in cities at the moment. That said the gears gave up long ago on my old bone shaker, thus prompting me to do away with them and go single speed.

whilst searching on flickr I came accross this image; a handsome single speed with the beautiful amsterdamn in the background.

I absolutely love these guys mainly because they use loads of lines with the odd character appearing here and there. I really love the colurs in this one. Check Supermundane out.

I have been looking around recently for inspiration when I stumbled upon the work of Nate Williams, I love the loose style and his screen prints check it out

Day of the dead skull

Day of the dead skull, originally uploaded by boredmonkeylove.

I was chatting to a guy the other day in the new Apple store in Bristol. He had the best tatoo I have seen; on his hand. It was an outline of a Mexican sugar skull, in stunning scarlett. The Mexicans make decorated skulls from sugar with their deceased loved ones names to cellebrate the day of the dead. I drew this as a response to this tattoo. I also found this great online shop in Brighton, check them out. Sacred Stitches
